Overview

The CAROBA Balancer OnDesk 500 is the tabletop version of the PMB Bobertag Balancer Universal 500, and all setup variants and workpiece mountings are compatible between the two. The base system combines an integrated round belt drive, 2 movable bearing blocks on a free oscillating rail and a removable CAROBA UMS measuring system, with a balancing platform for assemblies that run on their own drive and PMB air bearings for contactless balancing at very high speed. Its low weight lets a laboratory store it on a shelf and set it on a workbench when needed.

Applications

  • Electric motor and rotor balancing
  • Micro turbines, spindles and fan wheels
  • R&D, prototypes and quality assurance
