Multifunctional Laboratory Coextrusion Lines

Supplied, sold and supported by Petrano Supply Inc. in Canada.

Configurable lab lines that combine twin screw compounding with multilayer cast film, pelletizing and filament on one platform.

For a fast quote, include the quantity, delivery city, required date and any tender number.

Overview

These GS-mach lines pair a high torque twin screw extruder with single screw coextruders, a multilayer feed block and flat die, and interchangeable downstream units, so a single installation covers granulation, 3D printing filament and cast or laminated film. A representative configuration uses a GS-35D main extruder, 4 GSD-30 single screw extruders and a feed block for up to 9 layers with a layer sequencing spool, fed by gravimetric feeders for pellets, powders and liquids. The process is set up for melt processing of biopolymers such as PLA, PHA, PBS and PBAT, as well as polyolefins and polyamides with EVOH.

Applications

  • Barrier and multilayer film development
  • Biopolymer compounding and pelletizing
  • 3D printing filament research
  • Pilot runs for new materials
